Day 2 Don Federuik 2 Copy

But it's not only about who crosses the finish line first, it's about first and penalty free.  Don Federuik (Deken Race the 8 at Rycroft) has a great run, finishes the race with a 1:19.93, almost 2 seconds ahead of Todd McCracken (Lindberg Construction). His race was well run, however, a little bad luck with a knocked barrel penalty is a little too much to overcome and keep that top spot.

Day 2 Derek Aebly 2 Copy

Fighting it out for 1 place in the standings to take home the Tour Champion title and GMC Trophy Truck is Derek Aebly (Horizon Hauling) and

Day 2 Rick Shadow Copy

Les may have been a hair ahead but once again the curse of the knocked barrel and Rick places 3rd overall with a time of 1:20.36

Day 2 Les Kyla Rever Copy

Maybe Les needs to listen to the wise words from his wife, Kyla!

Day 2 Lane Kimble 2 Copy

In high gear around the track this night and taking 2nd spot with a 1:19.74 was Lane Kimble. Clearly he must be getting some great medicine from the Medicine Shoppe! Check them out in GP

Day 2 Bryce 2 Copy

You've got to hang on to your hat going that speed on that rig! Bryce Somerville (Grumpy's Liquor Hut) is well on his way to the Aggregate Champion title.

Da y 2 holders Copy

A couple of our holders! They are pretty important and they can help or hinder a driver's start! It's a tough, dangerous spot they are in and they have to be quick on their feet! Just as Jack Bolin!

Day 1

Thank you to Jo KIMBLE and Dale SALES for all the nightly photos!

Despite the torrential downpour we suffered through the night before, we were still able to race,  due to the outstanding efforts of Doug Love and his crew at Evergreen Park. They worked on the track all day to ensure the track was usable in time.

Day 1 Eric Rever 1 Barrel Turn of the Day Copy

Another absolutely fantastic barrel turn by Eric Rever (Wilderness Farms) gives him the edge on hitting the track and grabbing the rail.

Day 1 Eric Rever 1 Top Spot Copy

Resulting in Eric crossing the line first in his heat AND first for the night with a time of 1:19.24, well, well ahead of his nearest competitor, 2nd place driver, Dean Dreger (Platinum North Resources)

Day 1 Dean 1 Copy

After a rough GP Stompede show that left Dean down in the standings, a spot he usually does not see, he is more determined than ever coming into the track tonight.

Day 1 Dean 2 Copy

And it paid off. A nice start and a great run for Dean put him in 2nd place for the night. Dean's time was 1:21.61, just slightly ahead of 3rd spot driver, Erik Tremblay (Chariot Oilfield Services), who was putting the pressure on Dean all the way around the track. Erik took a final time of 1:21.77
