2012 Sponsor for Teepee Creek "4 Days in the Wild"

Mitch started his career in on the Western Chuckwagon Association circuit in 2004 and was the overall WCA champion in back to back years in 2008 and 2009. He has won twelve WCA show championships during his tenure with the club. He is an owner/operator of Hitchem Oilfield Hauling, a busy outfit in the off season, and since joining the WPCA in 2010, he enjoys competing with his father Kirk. Mitch won the 2011 Richard Cosgrave Badlands Dinosaur Derby en route to being named the 2011 WPCA Top Rookie Driver, and joins Rick Fraser and Jerry Bremner as the only drivers in WPCA history to win a show championship and the Top Rookie Driver buckle in the same year. Mitch and his wife Heather have two children – Emerson and Weston – and make their home in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

In the fall of 2010, Mitch entered the runoff in Bashaw and qualified to race with the WPCA for the 2011 racing season. Mitch is both an excellent competitor and valued contributing member of the WCA and he will be very much missed. We wish him all the luck and success with the WPCA.
